In short

Notchy runs locally on your Mac. We don't collect, sell or track your personal data. Your clipboard, media and files never leave the device.

What stays on your device

• Clipboard history, the file tray and system metrics — local only, in the app's memory.
• Passwords copied to your clipboard are skipped and never stored.
• Your license key is kept in the macOS Keychain on your Mac.

What leaves the device (the minimum)

• Weather: your approximate location is sent to the weather service, only when you open the Weather page.
• Lyrics: the track title/artist is sent to a lyrics service to fetch synced lyrics.
• License: on activation we verify your license key and, for subscriptions, check its renewal status. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Analytics

We don't use advertising or tracking scripts inside the app.
